How do I connect to Bluetooth in a 2011 Kia Soul?
I’m considering buying my neighbor’s used Kia Soul, but I want to make sure that it’s Bluetooth compatible, as I use my phone hands free quite a lot when I drive. Do you know how I can connect to Bluetooth in a 2011 Kia Soul?

You can connect to Bluetooth in a 2011
Kia Soul
via the infotainment screen, but only on upgraded trim levels. So you’ll want to first verify that the Soul you’re considering isn’t the base level trim, as that would mean that you wouldn’t be able to connect Bluetooth—unless you got an aftermarket
Bluetooth adapter
, that is. But if you’ve got a trim level that has Bluetooth, then connecting is easy! Here’s what you do:
** Press the phone button that’s on the instrument panel, usually right next to the infotainment screen
** A prompt will appear on the screen asking if you want to pair a phone
** In your device, make sure your Bluetooth is turned on in your settings menu
** Your phone will look for available devices, and once it finds the Kia, select it on the menu
** Your device will ask for a PIN, which is displayed on the infotainment screen. The factory default PIN is “0000” if no code is displayed
** Your device and the Kia will connect, and your phone will sync with the Soul. It may take a few minutes for all of your phone’s contacts and call history to transfer
And there you have it! Hands free conversations are good to go. Make sure you follow your state’s laws about
texting and driving
