SafeAuto roadside assistance vs. AAA

Both SafeAuto and AAA offer the same basic types of roadside assistance, like fluid deliveries and flat tire assistance. However, there are a few key differences.
For example, SafeAuto’s roadside assistance follows the vehicle, and only applies to the specific car covered by your policy. AAA services, on other hand, follow the driver and will apply to any vehicle you happen to be driving or riding in.
Additionally, AAA offers two higher tiers of coverage—Plus and Premier—with much more desirable benefits, such as 100 miles of towing (for free!), free one-day rental cars, and free passport photos. AAA members also can find travel and hotel discounts around the country.
But buying roadside assistance directly through SafeAuto is convenient, and it’ll likely be very cost efficient. Plus, you won have to manage multiple memberships, as the cost for roadside assistance will be conveniently added to your regular auto insurance bill.
