I have a Honda HR-V that I purchased from a private seller. While it’s run smoothly so far, I’m having a heck of a time trying to connect the Bluetooth system to my phone. How do I do it?

Congrats on your new Honda HR-V! Even without an owner’s manual, connecting the HR-V’s Bluetooth to your phone is surprisingly simple and takes about a minute if you follow these steps:
Enable Bluetooth on your phone.
Turn the key to the ACC position.
Press the phone button on the top right of the Honda HandsFreeLink interface.
Confirm that you would like to add a new phone.
Select your phone from the HR-V’s infotainment screen.
Look for HandsFreeLink on your phone’s list of Bluetooth devices.
Confirm the PIN on the screen matches the PIN on your phone.
You should see a confirmation on the screen of the HR-V if the pairing is successful.
Once installed, you can use the HR-V’s infotainment system to make hands-free calls or play music from your phone.
