How do I check tire pressure on a Toyota Highlander?
I have a Toyota Highlander that’s been driving a bit erratically as of late. I think I just need to put some air in the tires, but I’ve never done it before. How do I check the PSI on a Toyota Highlander?

Sorry to hear that your Highlander is driving a bit off-kilter. Hopefully, it’s something simple like the tire pressure. To check the tire pressure on the Toyota Highlander, just follow these steps:
- Find the PSI or tire pressure inside the driver’s side door jamb of your vehicle. For the Toyota Highlander, the PSI is 36.
- Find the valve stem on the tire and unscrew the cap.
- Push your tire gauge onto the valve stem to get the tire pressure.
- Fill or deflate your tires to reach the recommended PSI.
- Repeat for all the other tires of the vehicle.
Keep in mind that if your tire pressure is off, the Toyota Highlander’s tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) will alert you. This dashboard light looks like a tire with an exclamation point in the middle. If you see that, always check your tires.
