My last car finally gave out on me and I’m looking for a good used car to get me around. I’ve heard great things about Kia, and I’m interested in getting the Optima. What is the best year for a used Kia Optima?

That’s a great question! Most experts agree that the 2020
Kia Optima
is the best model year that boasts a spacious cabin, intuitive infotainment system, and tons of safety features. To boot, the 2020 mid-size sedan is the only Optima model to have zero recalls with very few complaints submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).You really can’t go wrong with any of the newer Optima sedans for model years 2017 to 2020 since Kia worked out many of the kinks from earlier years. On the flip side, it’s best to avoid model years 2011 to 2016.
