How do I add a car to State Farm insurance?

My younger sister is getting a car. Since we live together, I'm adding her to my State Farm insurance. How do I add her car?

Since you live with your sister, you can save money by adding her to your State Farm policy. Many companies offer discounts for adding multiple vehicles to a policy and State Farm is one of them!
While adding another vehicle will increase your total policy premium, the cost of each car could decrease as much as 25%!
You can add your sister and her vehicle through the online app or your account. You’ll need your sister’s information along with her vehicle’s VIN and the type of coverage she requires. State Farm may also require her license plate number and the make and model of her car.
Once you add her, State Farm will give you a quote for a new premium. You can also see if you qualify for any other discounts. If you’re happy with the rate, you can continue with adding her.
If the rate increase is too expensive, consider shopping around. Every insurance company rates policies uniquely, so you may still find a lower rate.
If you’d rather leave the hard work of gathering quotes to someone else, use Jerry. This app can collect quotes from up to 50 top insurance companies in seconds!
