How can you retrieve a car insurance policy?
What’s the best way to look up my car insurance policy? I need the policy number for some paperwork.

To retrieve a car insurance policy:
- Check your records. If you keep files of important papers, look there first.
- Log in to your insurer’s website or mobile app. From there, you can access your policy number and coverage information.
- Call your insurance agent. They will ask you a few questions to verify your identity and can then provide you with whatever account information you need.
- Visit your local insurance provider. This will work much the same as calling, only you’ll go through the process in person.
Once you’ve found your policy, take a look at the details. Are they still working for you, and are you happy with the price you’re paying each month? If you’re not happy or if you just want to see what else is out there, check out the
