How can I turn on a BMW with the key?
I just bought a new BMW and the manager at the dealership told me that I can use my key to start the car remotely, which sounds awesome, but I have no clue how it works. How can I turn on my BMW with my key?

Remote start systems can open up a world of convenience for many drivers. Depending on what type of key you have, the process to turn your
BMW
on with your key may differ. To start your BMW with your key, you may first need to download or activate the software to remote start your car. Your car’s touchscreen will have more details about it, but typically you can activate it by accessing the Climate Control menu.
Once activated, if your key fob does not have a light-up display, press the lock button rapidly three times to turn your engine on or off.
If your key has a touch display, tap the fan symbol, then Activate Now and Engine Start.
Should either of those options not remotely start your car, be sure to check your owner’s manual or call a BMW dealership for assistance.
