How can I be insured to drive any car?

Kind of specific, but I really like to drive and am usually the driver for longer car trips. However, we don't always take my car. That means I end up driving other people's cars A LOT. How can I be insured to drive any car?

“When driving a vehicle that is not your own, claims would usually go through the car’s insurance not your own. Most of the time, you’re covered under a permissive use clause, which covers you if you only drive another person’s car on occasion. There are exceptions, however.
If you get into an accident or otherwise file a claim, here are some instances where you may have to go through your own insurance:
  • The car’s insurance specifically states it only covers drivers named in the policy.
  • The coverage limit of the car has been reached.
  • You were driving the car without permission.
  • There have been medical expenses.
If you’re insured, your policy will handle the claim in these situations. But if you’re driving someone else’s car regularly, you may come across a situation where you want to add more coverage. That’s when
