in your crawl space that could get worse over time, potentially impacting the structure of your home, so you’ll want to take whatever measures you can to keep water out of your crawl space.
You might also want to figure out whether your foundation has any cracks or leaks that are allowing water from outside to come into your crawlspace.
If your crawl space is prone to water accumulation, it’s important you also have the right kind of insurance to protect your home, including water backup coverage if you have a sump pump. This might be included in a standard policy, or you might have to purchase additional coverage.
