How are electric cars identified?
Hey there, I'm a first responder, and I wonder if you can help point out some cues that may tell me the differences between electric and gas cars. How are electric vehicles identified?

Thank you for your services. This is a great thing to note of—you can identify an electric car by looking for specific external cues.
The best way to ID an electric car will probably be through a badge or sticker found on some EVs and hybrids. Sometimes, manufacturers put a visible decal onto the vehicle to identify that it’s a green vehicle. You’ll sometimes also find that people who drive electric tend to have a license plate holder that also recognizes that the car is electric.
However, no government or manufacturer-required external markings exist, so you can’t expect the same from every electric car. So it would be best if you looked for other things like the absence of exhaust at the back, battery vents, dashboard logos, or cabling that might let you know it’s not gas-fueled.
Have you ever filled out car insurance forms? Then you know how miserable it can be. You probably didn’t know all the answers. You may have called your mom for help. And, when you finished the final questions, you certainly weren’t inspired to shop around and fill out more forms to ensure you were getting the best price. You just wanted to be done.
That’s how people end up paying too much for insurance. Who can blame you for thinking that the plan and price would be competitive, accurate, and fair after answering those questions?
