Does Volvo’s warranty cover the tires?

While
Volvo’s
basic new-car warranty, combining powertrain and bumper-to-bumper warranty, covers a majority of parts needed for your vehicle—it does not include tires. But your tires will be covered if you bought the Swedish automaker’s Tire and Wheel Protection coverage. Volvo’s Tire and Wheel Protection coverage will reimburse you for repairs or replacements due to wear and tear on roadways. Here’s what the plan offers:
- Flat tire coverage: you’ll be reimbursed for the repair of a flat tire due to road hazards
- Wheel coverage: you’re covered if your wheel cannot be balanced, hold air, or the overall structural integrity of the wheel is damaged
- Tire replacement: your tire will be replaced if it is non-repairable
