Although the Tesla Model 3 is often celebrated for its advanced technology and modern features, it does not have direct Apple CarPlay compatibility. No
Apple CarPlay is used by drivers to do many of the things you would use your phone for, all without taking your attention off the road. You can use your Apple CarPlay:
As a navigation system
To play and select music
To make phone calls and hear text messages read aloud to you
Luckily the Tesla Model 3 does have an internal infotainment touchscreen—one that can be used to play music and display a map. It may not seem as convenient as connecting your phone, but it’s intended to be much better integrated into your electric vehicle.
