Does the Infiniti Q50 have a spare tire?
I’m looking to get a new car since I got a new job. I love the Infiniti Q50 but I’m wary of tire repair kits. Does the Infiniti Q50 have a spare tire?

Like many high-end sedans, the Infiniti Q50 does not have a spare tire. It has run-flat tires instead.
Run-flat tires will stay inflated long enough after a puncture to allow you to drive to a repair shop. Note that while your tire is compromised, you’ll need to travel under 55 mph.
If a spare tire is non-negotiable for you but you love the Q50, you may be able to find third-party spare tire kits available for purchase. When shopping for a kit, be sure to choose one with a 5x114.3 bolt pattern for the right fit.
Additionally, here are some tips on minimizing your risk of getting a flat when you’re out and about:
- Rotate your tires every 5,000 to 10,000 miles to ensure even wear patterns
- Regularly check your tires’ condition, such as the tire pressure and tread depth
- Identify any cuts, scrapes, bumps, punctures, bulges, or cracks in your tires, and have them repaired or replaced ASAP
- Do not keep or install tires that were manufactured over 10 years ago
- Avoid damaging obstructions like debris, broken glass and other sharp objects, and potholes
- Do not overload your car, which can increase the pressure on your tires
