Does North Carolina require front license plates?

I just got a new job in Charlotte! Now I have about a month to get all my affairs to make the move, but I’ve never registered a car in the state. Do I need to get a front license plate in North Carolina?

North Carolina does not require a front license plate, only requiring a rear license plate for cars registered in the state. The idea behind only having a rear license plate is that the state can cut down on expenses and waste associated with having both a front and rear plate.
Since you’re moving to North Carolina, you have 60 days to get a new driver’s license, register your car, and get a
