Does installing a remote starter void a warranty from Nissan?

I’m so over getting into a cold car on winter mornings! I’d like to add remote start to my Altima, but it’s still pretty new and I don’t want to affect the warranty. Will installing a remote starter void my Nissan warranty?

Remote starters have many advantages, especially when you wake up to those low winter temperatures. Thanks to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, installing a remote starter will not void your warranty from
Nissan
so long as it is properly installed.
Warranties are pretty tough to void these days, but adding an aftermarket modification can make your warranty harder to use if the manufacturer can trace damages back to its installation. Adding
mechanical breakdown insurance
to your car insurance policy may be a good idea if you fear your warranty won’t protect you in the way that you want it to.
