Does Ford Escape have adaptive cruise control?
I currently drive a standard 2020 Ford Escape, but it doesn’t have adaptive cruise control. Does Ford offer adaptive cruise control on its Escape models now? Why doesn’t mine have it?

The standard 2020 Ford Escape did not have adaptive cruise control, but it was available with an optional package.
Ford calls its suite of driver-assist features Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist technology, which includes adaptive cruise control. Here’s an overview of each Ford Escape model year and its adaptive cruise control availability:
- 2018-2019: Adaptive cruise control became available as part of the Ford Safe and Smart Package, but only on SE, SEL, and Titanium trims.
- 2020: Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go is optional on theSE,SEL, and Titanium trims with Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist. The Titanium trim offers a more advanced version with lane centering. 2021-2022: Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering (including speed sign recognition) is optional on the SE and SEL trims and standard on the Titanium.
