Do driving instructors charge for cancelled lessons?
I’m going to need to reschedule quite a few driving lessons for personal reasons, but I’m worried about the potential cancellation costs. Will my driving instructor charge me for canceling lessons?

Sorry to hear you’re going through some personal issues, and hopefully your driving instructor will understand! If you fail to cancel the lesson with ample time or are a no-show, most driving schools charge fees to cover the costs associated with the missed lesson. The best course of action is to communicate with your instructor and inquire about their cancellation policy.
Depending on your situation, you may be able to get a refund if you haven’t started the lesson and you have a medical condition with a doctor’s note. Sometimes a driving instructor won’t require details, but will at least request that you make cancellations within 24 to 48 hours in advance of your scheduled lesson.
