Can you tell me how to remove car windshield stickers?

I just bought a new car. The dealership stuck my registration and a dealer sticker on the windshield. How do I remove the windshield stickers on my car?

How annoying! You can remove
car windshield
stickers and their leftover goop a few different ways, using some supplies you may already have around the house.
  • Glass cleaner: Spray the cleaner onto the sticker and use a razor blade or your fingernail to pull the sticker up slowly. Chip away at the adhesive to remove it.
  • Rubbing alcohol: Use a paper towel to cover the sticker’s surface in rubbing alcohol. Let it sit for a few minutes to loosen the adhesive and make it easier to remove.
  • Goo Gone: Use this store bought product to remove the sticker and its remaining adhesive. Just like the alcohol, you’ll want to apply the solution and let it sit for a few minutes so it can work its magic.
