If you don’t have it, you could definitely leave your car overnight, but know the risks.
  • Take all valuables out of the car or stow them in the trunk.
  • Leave a note on the car or tie something to the antenna to signal to law enforcement that you’re returning to the vehicle.
By doing so, you ensure that your car won’t be towed or impounded.
