2015 Mercedes-Benz F 015 Luxury in Motion

We’re starting off truly futuristic with the F 015 Luxury in Motion, Mercedes-Benz’s vision for an autonomous vehicle that would re-imagine the interactions between humanity and technology. It’s designed with four rotating nappa-leather seats, a fine wood floor, and six display screens that respond to gestures, not just voice controls.
The F 015 doesn’t just represent luxury—it’s a business meeting in motion, powered by plug-in electric hybrid technology with a total range of 1,100 km.

2016 Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6

Two words describe the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 concept car: smart and sexy. Or, in Mercedes’ words, “hot” and “cool.” The first half of the “hot and cool” concepts is embodied in svelte, luxurious design characteristics, from dramatic gullwing doors to sensuous leather upholstery and glossy elm wood trim
But the Mercedes-Maybach 6 also emphasizes smart technology, like the sensors embedded in that leather upholstery to detect passengers’ vitals and automatically adjust the climate control and massage settings. Oh, and the all-electric motor can take the car from 0 to 60 in under four seconds and charge a full 62 miles in five minutes

2017 Mercedes-AMG ONE

Revealed at the 2017 International Motor Show Germany, the Mercedes-AMG ONE is an aerodynamic marriage of elite performance engineering and high-class design. Powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged hybrid V6 engine and four electric motors with a combined power of 450 kW, the ONE gets an astonishing total output of 1,000 hp, sending its forged aluminum wheels from 0 to 62 in under three seconds and up to a truly dizzying 217 mph.
And if you’ve got a spare $2.72 million hanging around, you might get a chance to drive the ONE before too long. Mercedes is currently planning to produce an exclusive 275 units for sale in 2022.

2020 Mercedes-Benz Concept EQT

Mercedes has been leaping into the electric vehicle segment recently with the EQ sub brand, starting with the EQS sedan. All-electric versions of the
GLA
and
GLB
SUVs are on their way shortly, but the German automaker has also unveiled a new concept for its first fully electric minivan: the EQT
Designed for families, the EQT focuses on safety, comfort, and convenience—in addition to cutting-edge electric technology. White nappa leather interior upholstery and high-gloss black paint are a given, but the van’s also outfitted with an AI-powered infotainment system capable of anticipating the driver’s needs, and the second row can fit three car seats side-by-side.
With the EQT, Mercedes is designing for the family of the future—and that future might be soon. The T-Class is set to go from concept to production in 2022.

2020 Mercedes-Benz Vision AVTR

It’s hard to imagine a car more futuristic than the Vision AVTR, a concept designed by Mercedes-Benz in collaboration with the makers of Avatar—yes, that Avatar
This is an electric car with a difference. Sure, it starts with the same four electric motors that power most of Mercedes’ EV concepts. But the AVTR doesn’t just boast a 700+ km driving range and the ability to reach a full charge in under 15 minutes. Thanks to innovative engineering and advanced torque vectoring, each wheel of the AVTR can be driven separately, and the entire car can move sideways in what the designers describe as a kind of “crab movement.”
The crab walk is just the beginning: the entire car’s got a nautical vibe, from the color-changing fabric inspired by underwater aesthetics to the bionic flaps on the car’s roof that act as solar panels. The car’s immersive design incorporates neuromorphic hardware to minimize energy consumption, and the instrument panel relies on biometric links between vehicle and driver.
