Can you flat tow a Cadillac SRX?

I’m heading out on a cross-country road trip with the whole family in tow! Speaking of towing, can I flat tow by Cadillac SRX behind our motorhome for shorter trips?

According to Cadillac, the SRX is flat-towable in both its front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. That being said, in order to flat tow the SRX you’ll need some additional equipment, including:
  • base plates
  • ** a tow bar**
  • safety cables
  • supplemental braking.
