Are tires covered under the Chevy warranty?

My tires need to be replaced, but I just want to make sure they’re not under warranty before I pay for them. Does the Chevy warranty cover tires?

It never hurts to check! Unlike most manufacturers, Chevy covers tires through the Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty. This coverage lasts for three years or 36,000 miles.
However, this only pays for tire replacements in the case of manufacturer error or poor workmanship. If your tires are merely worn out, they will likely not be covered under warranty. If you’re not sure that your tire repairs fall under the warranty guidelines, contact your dealer for more information.
To maximize your Chevy’s protection, consider adding insurance coverage that suits your driving needs. Afraid of a rising
