Are struts covered under the Kia warranty?

I have a Kia Sorento I purchased last year that’s been acting a little wonky. I had my husband take a look and he thinks the left strut is blown. Will my warranty cover the repair?

Having issues with a brand new car can be frustrating! All new Kia’s come with a 5-year/60,000-mile Limited Basic Warranty that guarantees almost all parts of your vehicle are free from defects. And good news—struts should be covered under the Kia warranty.
If your struts fail before the end of your warranty coverage period and are found to be defective, you shouldn’t have to pay for the repair. But if you’re beyond your coverage period when they fail, you’ll be liable for the repair costs out of pocket.
In the meantime, collect some savings to pay for your struts by saving on car insurance with
