announced in May 2021 that Porsche Tequipment had partnered with Studio F.A. Porsche to create a Performance roof box for Porsche vehicles.The accessory would combine practicality with performance to create a product worthy of the German automaker’s sporty, high-performance luxury vehicles.
At the time, it had only been tested for the Taycan Cross Turismo, but the roof storage box now appears to be available for select other Porsche models, including some versions of the 911, Panamera, Macan, and Cayenne, according to the

The design, look, and specifications of the roof storage box
The design ethos at Porsche can be encapsulated by the phrase “form follows function,” according to the Porsche Newsroom. The Performance roof box embodies this with its slight counter-curve shape.
It features side blades that can be customized to your preference from a
range of color choices
: Carrara White Metallic, High-Gloss Black, Volcano Grey Metallic, and Dolomite Silver Metallic.The Performance roof box affords plenty of roof storage, holding a volume of up to 480 liters, which is enough for at least three snowboards or five pairs of skis, according to the Porsche Newsroom. In total, it has a maximum load capacity of 75 kg (roughly 165 lbs).
It features a “quick-fastening system” and opens on both sides to give you quick access to your gear.
Ever-stylish yet practical, Porsche also includes three securing straps, two pairs of gloves, a Porsche Crest sticker, and a logoed protective cover.

Porsche created the Performance roof box with the same care and precision dedicated to its luxury vehicles. They used a one-to-one clay model early on in the design process.

This certainly paid off, as the storage box can accompany the Turismo at speeds reaching 200 km/h (about 124 mph), according to the Porsche Newsroom.
