It’s lavishly appointed with comfortable, roomy seats which make the smooth ride that much better. There isn’t quite as much storage space as there is for other comparable SUVs, and the fuel economy is only a measly 19 mph combined. If you don’t mind spending all that money, though, the Cayenne could easily rival an F Pace for that coveted spot in your garage.

The main appeal of the GV80 can be summed up in a single word: value.With the GV80, drivers can enjoy standard features that would typically cost thousands of dollars extra from brands like Mercedes or Porsche. Everything from safety features like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist to more driver-focused details like front and rear parking sensors are included on the base model. Plus, all of these features are protected by an outstanding warranty coverage, so you don’t have to worry quite as much if something breaks or stops working. Sure, the engine is a bit anemic and it doesn’t have the best fuel economy by far, but the GV80 can still tow as much as 6,000 pounds!

from Audi is a pillar of the luxury three-row SUV market—so much so that it consistently earns the #1 spot in that category from Edmunds. The third-row seats are a bit tight and you might often find yourself folding them down for the extra cargo space, but they come standard on the Q7, as opposed to being a paid upgrade like you’ll find with many of its competitors.In terms of performance, the Q7 can be equipped with either a standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder or an optional turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, both of which are paired to a 48-volt mild hybrid system. With the V6, the Q7 is capable of going from 0-60 mph in 5.6 seconds—pretty fast for a three-row SUV! It might not have the best fuel economy (20 combined mpg) and you definitely have to fold all the seats down to get decent cargo storage space, but the Q7 can still give the F Pace a run for its money.

With the traditional six-cylinder engine, the X5 has an average fuel economy of 22 combined mpg, but it can go from 0-60 in a lightning-fast 4.8 seconds! It can even tow up to 6,600 pounds of weight.
The X5 is definitely expensive, and you’ll probably end up spending thousands of extra dollars customizing it to your liking, but it still stands as one of the most competitive alternatives to the Jaguar F Pace.

5. Lincoln Aviator

In the competitive world of luxury SUVs, the
RX 350
from Lexus has long been a subtle, more affordable alternative to some of the high-caliber options. All models are equipped with a 3.5-liter 295-horsepower V6 engine, but it’s far from the fastest or most powerful SUV in this bracket, taking a cumbersome 7.9 seconds to go from 0-60 mph. Still, that V6 allows the RX 350 to tow up to 3,500 pounds. The real selling point, aside from affordability, is the lavishly appointed interior. Lexus shines at making the driving experience a pleasant one, and the soft leather upholstery, roomy cabin, and easy-to-use interface on the RX 350 all attest to that.
Overall, though, the RX 350 lags significantly behind the rest. It’s simply not as powerful, cutting-edge, or luxurious as the rest of the competition.
7. Infiniti QX60
Starting price: $50,000 to $63,000
Selling points: High-quality cabin and lots of features for the price
Weak spot: Uninspired handling and acceleration, front seats are a bit uncomfortable

, the new QX60 has a new look, more luxury appeal, and a whole suite of advanced driver-aid features. Every QX60 model comes equipped with Infiniti’s ProPilot Assist System, which includes rear automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring, and forward collision mitigation, to name only a few of its features.Under the hood, it’s got the same tried and true 3.5-liter V6, which gets about 22 combined mpg and can tow up to 3,500 pounds (6,000 with the optional towing package). On the inside, the QX60 offers plenty of legroom in the front seats, although the passengers in the second and third rows might have to come to some sort of compromise. Road noise is almost negligible, and a great climate control system will make sure you and your passengers are plenty comfortable.

8. Acura MDX
Starting price: $50,000 to $69,000
Selling points: Ample cargo space, combines sporty handling and a relaxed ride, generous amount of features and driver aids for the money

Our last competitor is a candidate from the luxury-adjacent side of the market—the
Acura MDX
. Don’t let the classification fool you, though, because Acura has a well-established reputation for making vehicles that blur the lines between affordability, performance, and luxury. The MDX received a redesign in 2022, giving it a sleeker look and higher-quality materials for the interior. It also comes standard with all-wheel drive and third-row seating, both of which you’re liable to pay extra for with some of the MDX’s competitors.
On the inside, it’s very spacious (at least in the first two rows) and the front seats are considered to be some of the most comfortable in the entire luxury SUV class. The infotainment system, however, is liable to leave you scratching your head and looking at the manual.
On the road, the MDX displays serious agility, as its steering and handling make it feel like a much smaller vehicle. The 3.5-liter V6 is fine, but not terribly impressive, and can make the 0-60 run in about 7.5 seconds. It can also haul around 3,500 pounds, or 5,000 with the optional Towing Package.
