says Toyota built the 2022 Corolla Cross around the same chassis and 2.0 liter, 169 horsepower engine as previous Corollas. But the Cross comes with a rugged exterior and the option of all-wheel drive that brings vehicles like the Subaru Crosstrek or the Hyundai Tuscon to mind.Besides gaining all-wheel drive capability and a mean-looking new body, the new Corolla Cross also features LED lighting, single-zone climate control, a 7-inch infotainment display, and a 60/40 split-folding rear seat.
