While Toyota hasn’t jumped on the electric truck just yet, the company has released information about an electric version of a truck similar to the Toyota Tacoma, as well as several other battery electric vehicles (BEVs), all of which are set to come out in 2025.
While the Toyota hasn’t officially released an electric version of the Toyota Tacoma just yet, an EV pickup by Toyota will be included in the 2025 release. Many potential buyers suspect that the truck is a version of the Tacoma, but that isn’t a certain thing just yet.
Is there an electric version of the Toyota Tacoma?

Toyota hasn’t released much information yet as far as the truck’s exact design, so we’re not certain yet that the EV will actually be a Tacoma model. Still, the vehicle looks very similar to the newest Tacoma design, and some of the other information that we have about this truck points to the Tacoma as a base model.
