It seems only appropriate that a movie about a superhero who has the ability to control lightning would be doing a cross-promotion with an EV charging station.
While there aren’t any EVs present in the movie, this isn’t the first time that Hollywood has pushed for greater EV awareness.
To take advantage of the deal, drivers must confirm their email address through the EVgo website and then charge for either 20 minutes at a fast charger or 6 hours at an L2 station. Get that fully charged battery and that cheap movie ticket!
Jonathon Levy, CCO at EVgo spoke about the promotion, saying, “As ‘Black Adam’ hits theaters, the power of electricity is more apparent than ever, including the shockingly fast charging speeds powered by 100% renewable energy on EVgo’s nationwide network. We’re thrilled to collaborate with Warner Bros. Pictures on this epic action-adventure to offer EVgo customers exclusive perks that support experiences we all enjoy, like a night out at the movies.”
EVgo has over 850 fast charging stations and over 1,000 L2 stations to choose from, all of which are participating in the promotion. The deal goes from October 11th to November 20th.
Whether you’ve made the leap to EVs and are able to take advantage of this cool promotion, or you’re still pushing a gas-powered car, you’re going to want to make sure that you have solid insurance coverage.
