Toyota
has shared pertinent details of their newest models. Some of the specs you can expect from the bZ4X are front-wheel drive, 18-inch alloy wheels, a seating capacity for five, and a cargo volume behind the rear seat of 27.7 cubic feet. 
This is also a zero-emission vehicle with an electric motor and lithium-ion battery.
In terms of features, the bZ4X is utilizing the newest Toyota New Global Architecture platform. The stability, level of comfort while on the road, and overall driving performance should be well enhanced with this new feature made for electric vehicles. 
Activate X-MODE and you even extend to all-wheel-drive capabilities. It's ideal for rainy weather and curved roads. The bZ4X gets 201 horsepower. 
Nissan
has also shared some details of its Ariya SUV, although they're limited for the time being. While Toyota's offering comes in two versions, Ariya has four versions available, the Venture+, Evolve+, Premiere, and Platinum+. 
The Nissan Ariya Venture+ is the closest to the price point. It also has front-wheel drive capabilities. Its range is up to 300 miles, and it can get from 0 to 60 MPH within 7.2 seconds. 
The Ariya gets 238 horsepower, so it's above the bZ4X in that regard. It has the same five-seat capacity, though. The dashboard is entirely unique. Touchscreen buttons are within the video monitor display, as well as below it on the dash.

When it comes to price points, the Toyota bZ4X is only slightly more affordable. The starting price is $42,000. The starting price for the Nissan Ariya is $45,950. However, you may be able to get it for less if there are any tax incentives or discounts provided by the dealership.

indicates that the edgy styling of the Toyota bZ4X is worthwhile. Since it only gets up to 252 miles per charge, though, reviewers are a little concerned. 
The perky acceleration and overall fuel economy make it a worthwhile contender, but reviewers don't feel it's as good as some of the more luxury electric vehicles on the market.

review of the Nissan Ariya indicates a better driving range per charge. It beats out some other competitors in that aspect. It also has a sleek dashboard and plenty of room inside. It feels very modern and minimalistic. 
The rear seats are not nearly as spacious as the front ones, though, which could prove troublesome for families.
