Even though the rear seats don’t fold completely flat, the Nissan Leaf is extremely competitive in its class when it comes to cargo space. You’ll get 23.6 cubic feet of storage with the back seats up, and an even 30 with them folded down. Car and Driver fit seven carry-ons in the back with the seats up, and managed to cram in an impressive 19 bags with the seats folded.

One cargo spec that reviewers were less excited about was the lack of options for cabin storage. While not terrible, the cubbies are deemed fairly small and don’t offer a lot of areas to stash your little things like glasses, cell phones, etc.

can seat seven or eight people, depending on how it’s configured. There are three rows of seating, and buyers can choose a second row that's either a bench seat for three or comfy captain’s chairs for two. The Pathfinder is gasoline only, however, so you’ll gain the extra seating but lose the EV ability.

Want something larger? The

Armada

is the biggest SUV that Nissan offers, and also has three rows of seating. Like its smaller cousin the Pathfinder, you can configure the second row as either a bench seat or two captain’s chairs. As the biggest car in Nissan’s lineup, the Armada will also offer the most in terms of cargo capacity and passenger space.
