The 2019 Ram 1500 was designed to carry a 4’x8’ sheet of plywood completely flat in the bed with the tailgate down. That’s in addition to a deployable bed step and adjustable tie-downs.
In addition to 50+ cubes of space, the Ram 1500’s cargo bed has a payload capacity of 2,300 pounds. You can haul rock, concrete, dirt bikes, and more in a bed with these kinds of capabilities.
