Ok, oil change time! You will need the following materials:

Seven quarts of synthetic 5W-20 engine oil

Socket wrench

Drain pan

Filter Wrench

Replacement filter

New washer

Find a level location for your oil change. It's best to change the oil while it is warm and at its thinnest viscosity, so run the Ram for about five minutes. Then, turn off the engine, pop the hood, and follow these steps:

Take off the oil fill cap

Go under the truck and slide the draining pan under the engine

Remove the oil drain bolt, washer, and filter

Once the oil is finished draining, install the new filter

Replace the oil drain bolt using a new washer and tighten it to 29 lb-ft

Crawl out from under your truck and refill the engine with the new oil. And you’re done! It is good to let your truck run for a few minutes to check for leaks and to allow your
