The cheapest way to get a 2023 Ford Maverick with an FX4 Off-Road package is to buy the XLT trim, and only add AWD and the FX4 package. This will give you a net price of $30,115, according to Ford’s Build and Price
tool. FX4 package vs. the Tremor Off-Road package
If you’re looking for even more off-road features, you might want to go for one of the Tremor Off-Road packages, a new addition to the 2023 Maverick lineup. These packages include advanced 4WD, and even more impressive off-road upgrades than the ones included with the FX4 package.
The Tremor Off-road package also includes Trail Control, a smart cruise control system for difficult terrain that takes over the gas, brakes, and transmission, allowing the driver to simply steer as the system optimizes traction. Plus, unlike the FX4 package, the Tremor package is available with the hybrid powertrain.
While the Tremor Off-Road packages are far more impressive than the FX4 package, they do add a significant amount to the price. The tow package adds only $745 to the price of the truck, and increases max towing capacity to 4,000 pounds.
