AWD sports cars we love

The 2021 Polestar 2 is a powerful performer offered at $59,900 with an all-wheel drive. The all-electric sedan features 408 hp and electric motors in the front and back. It can accelerate to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds and offers drivers a sophisticated interior style.
If you want a fast yet modest vehicle, the Volkswagen Golf R is an excellent option that also offers Drift Mode. The hot hatch cranks out 315 hp and offers joyful handling.
According to
HotCars
, the Golf R “also comes standard with VW’s intelligent 4Motion all-wheel-drive system, whose rear differential actively distributes torque between the rear left and right wheels for improved traction.”
The entry-level Lamborghini Huracon actually shares the same V10 engine as the Audi R8. The speedster delivers over 600 hp to all four wheels and is much more agile than you’d expect. The 2022 model starts at $206,295 and can hit 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds.
The legendary Porsche 911 Turbo is a fun car that features an impressive Porsche Traction Management (PTM) system. The PTM “helps improve cornering ability, traction, and stability during extremely dynamic drills,” HotCars notes.
All-wheel drive is no stranger to the 911 Turbo, as it has been used since 1995, but the 2013 launch of PTM added a multi-clutch controlled electro-hydraulically instead of the electromechanical control.
