Will property owner's insurance cover the theft of my vehicle while on someone else’s property?
My truck was sitting on my friend's neighbor's property in Missouri for 8 months and was stolen. I do not have full coverage insurance for the truck. Will the neighbor's property owner's insurance cover the loss of my truck? Thank you.

I’m so sorry to hear that your trunk was stolen. It is common for cars that aren’t being driven to be minimally insured, but unfortunately, it can put you at risk in situations like this one.
Home or property owner’s insurance will not cover theft of or from your vehicle. In order for the loss of your truck to be covered, you would need to have
comprehensive coverage
on your auto insurance
policy.If you do have comprehensive coverage, you can
file a claim
with your company for compensation for your truck.Without comprehensive coverage, you may be able to be compensated for the loss of your vehicle if the thief is caught and convicted. At that point, you could sue for repayment, but the likelihood of success may be slim. Even so, be sure that you file a police report as soon as possible.
There’s no doubt that a situation like this is stressful, so it may be worth your time to cut out other stressors where you can, starting with your car insurance policy.
