Why is my GMC Bluetooth not working?

I have tried to connect my phone to Bluetooth so many times in the last few weeks, and it will never connect. I can’t tell if the problem is with my phone or car. Why is my GMC Bluetooth not working?

That sounds so frustrating! Your
GMC
Bluetooth may not be working because of outdated software—but this has a relatively easy fix.
You’re correct that your phone might be the culprit here. If restarting your phone doesn’t resolve the issue, here are other solutions.
Do you have any pending or suggested software updates on your phone? If so, try installing them and attempting the Bluetooth connection again.
Another possibility is that your battery is faulty or your cell signal is weak. These could forcibly disconnect your Bluetooth. Charge your phone or try again once you’ve got full bars.
Finally, your phone might be paired to other nearby devices. Headphones, smartwatches, tablets, or other devices can create connection issues. Unpair from other devices and see if this improves the connection.
If you still can’t get it to work, visit your local GMC dealer for assistance.
