I’m trying to do my due diligence before making my first big automotive purchase by finding out where my dream car is made and manufactured. Can you tell me where the Polestar 2 liftback is made?

This is the case when it comes to the Polestar 2. As a subdivision of Volvo, you might expect the Polestar 2 to be manufactured in Sweden, or even in Europe, but it’s actually made in Luqiao, China.
Luqiao, China is home to the CMA Super Factory—one of Volvo’s many worldwide manufacturing plants. Since 2019, the CMA Super Factory has overseen the production of the Polestar 2 and the Volvo XC40.
