Where is the Audi Q7 built?
I’m considering buying an Audi, and while I know it’s a German brand, I didn’t realize they weren’t all manufactured there—where is the Q7 built?

Great question! Audi outsources its manufacturing to Audi plants worldwide, but they do produce some of their vehicles at home. The Audi Q7 is built in Bratislava, Slovakia. The Volkswagen Slovakia plant opened in 2005 and has been producing the Audi Q7 since the end of 2005. Although the Q7 is made in Slovakia, it’s assembled from hundreds of parts produced in different facilities. For example, engines for the Audi Q7 come from the Hungarian Audi engine plant in Győr.
