It’s not surprising that you’re having trouble finding where the battery is located in your 2010 Dodge Journey—it’s in kind of a strange spot. The battery is actually located on a bumper shelf behind the driver’s side headlight.
If you need to get to your battery, you’ll have to remove the panel covering it, which usually requires removing the entire wheel. Fortunately, if you’re just trying to jumpstart your Journey, you can use the jump posts located under the hood.
