Why Won’t My 2015 Ford Focus Start and There’s No Clicking?

I tried to start my 2015 Ford Focus this morning, but I had no luck. It wouldn’t start and didn’t even make any clicking noises. Any idea why my 2015 Ford Focus won’t start and isn’t making any clicking noises?

If your 2015
Ford Focus
won’t start and there’s no clicking when you try to start it, you may be dealing with one of the following three issues:
  • A dead battery
  • A dead key fob battery
  • A faulty alternator
To figure out which problem you’re dealing with, you should first replace your key fob battery and try restarting your car. If that doesn’t work, use a multimeter to see how healthy your battery is. If the multimeter reads anywhere from 12.2 to 12.6 volts, your battery is in good condition, which means you should bring your vehicle into an auto shop to have a mechanic assess whether or not your car has a faulty alternator.
