Where are Cadillacs made?

I’ve read that many American cars are actually produced outside of the country to cut costs on overhead. However, I wasn’t sure if that was the deal with Cadillac. Are Cadillacs made in the U.S. or somewhere else?

You’ve done your research! Today, Cadillacs are made at several facilities in the U.S., as well as plants in Canada and China. Although Cadillacs were once made entirely in Detroit, the company branched out to lower overhead costs and improve logistics and shipping.
Currently, Cadillac has assembly plants and factories to build specific models. This list includes:
  • Escalade - Arlington, Texas
  • Lyriq, XT6, and XT5 - Spring Hill, Tennessee
  • XT4 - Kansas City, Kansas
  • CT5 and CT4 - Lansing, Michigan, and Jinqiao, Shanghai, China
No matter where a Cadillac is made, the company holds every plant to the same quality standards. As a result, you’ll see the opulence, precision, and style in every Cadillac, regardless of where it rolls off the assembly line. So if you decide to purchase a Cadillac, protect your investment and slash your
