is a wonderful family vehicle, with plenty of room for both passengers and cargo. Plus, it reaches a top speed of 145 mph thanks to two powerful engine options, a 300-hp turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine, and a 400-hp twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6The vehicle’s quick performance makes it a typical choice for local and state police forces across the country—who occasionally need to engage in high-speed chases.
Keep in mind that while the two engine options don’t offer much of a difference in terms of top speed, they will have an effect on how quickly your Explorer can accelerate.
This might not seem like a huge difference, but if you’ve got a lead foot, you’ll definitely feel the change in pick up.
