I’m making the long trek from Boston to California for my best friend’s wedding this summer, and I’d prefer to drive than fly to take advantage of the attractions along the way. What’s the best route to get there?

Driving allows for far more experiences than flying. The best route from Boston to California is along I-40 W, also known as Route 66. You’ll cover 3,142 miles in about 47 hours.
