What's a reasonable cost for full coverage on a 2015 Ford Focus?

I was talking to a friend about full-coverage auto insurance. I pay $150 a month for full coverage on my 2015 Ford Focus, and I haven't had an accident or speeding ticket. He pays $61. Am I overpaying?

“Unfortunately, it’s almost impossible to give you a specific rate for full coverage on a 2015 Ford Focus.
This is because several factors may be at play in the price of your coverage, including:
  • Marriage status
  • Owning a home vs. renting
  • Where you live
  • Age
  • Type of vehicle
  • Deductibles
  • Coverage limits
This list goes on and on. If you have a friend with a cheaper rate, these factors could be the determinant.
Your best bet is to check
car insurance quotes online
to make sure you aren’t overpaying.”
