What year did Jeep Wranglers get Bluetooth?

Great question! The
Jeep Wrangler
has been a staple in the off-road department since the ‘90s, but it hasn’t always been loaded with the tech gear it has today. Jeep Wranglers got Bluetooth connectivity in 2013 thanks to the rise of hands-free calling and music streaming services. In new models, Bluetooth connectivity is standard and is an essential part of the Jeep Wrangler experience, allowing drivers to stay connected while on the road and limiting
distracted driving
. The Wrangler comes loaded with great features regardless of what model you choose. The two-door Wrangler is available in two trims: Sport and
Rubicon
; you’ll also find several sub-trims based on the Sport: Willys Sport, Sport S, Willys, and Altitude. The four-door Wrangler Unlimited comes with the additional choice of the Sahara, the 4xe plug-in hybrid (Sahara or Rubicon trim only), and the Rubicon 392.Here are some of the features you’ll find on the base-level Wrangler Sport:
- Foglights
- Tow hooks
- Skid plates
- 17-inch steel wheels
- 7-inch touchscreen
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration
- Crank windows and manual door locks
When you upgrade to the Sport S, you add more comfort features, such as:
- Alloy wheels
- Leather-wrapped steering wheel
