Connecting your iPhone to Uconnect is a simple procedure that you’ll need to do while in your car. Make sure that the vehicle is not in motion while attempting to sync your phone to the vehicle.

On the Uconnect screen, you’ll first press the Phone button. On the new menu, select Add Device and then choose Settings.

While you wait on that screen, unlock your iPhone and navigate to Settings. Once you’ve opened the settings, find the Bluetooth option and select it. On the next screen, ensure that your Bluetooth is on, and then select your Jeep’s Uconnect system.

Once the device connects, you’ll be prompted to enter a PIN or confirm a matching passkey on the two devices. If your phone prompts you, be sure to allow Uconnect to access your contacts for the best functionality

Finally, press “Yes” on the Uconnect system to confirm the pairing. After completing these steps, Apple CarPlay should automatically launch; if it doesn’t, just tap the CarPlay icon on the Uconnect home screen, and it will begin.

What if my previously paired iPhone won’t connect?

Sometimes, a previously paired device won’t be able to connect to the system. If this occurs, you just have to make the Uconnect system forget your device and reconnect.

First, touch the Phone button on your Uconnect screen in your 2022 Jeep Wrangler. You will see a list of previously paired devices. Identify your iPhone and delete it from the system.
