What is the towing capacity of a 2008 Trailblazer?
I just bought a smaller camper, but I don’t know how much else I can pack into my trailblazer. How much weight can a 2008 Trailblazer tow?

You certainly have an aptly named car for camping, and it should be able to handle the weight of a small to medium-sized camper without much trouble. That’s because the 2008 Trailblazer has a towing capacity of 5,200 to 6,800 lbs.
Of course, if you want a more precise towing capacity, you can figure it out easily by:
- Finding the curb weight—this will be located on your car’s VIN sticker.
- Adding on all additionalweight—this will include passengers, a full tank of fuel, and any cargo you plan on keeping in the car.
- Subtracting the current total from the car’s GCWR—this can either be found on the door sticker or by looking it up with your vehicle’s VIN.
