What is the Minnesota speed limit?

I’m planning a fishing trip to Minnesota, but the best places are all up by the Canadian border. I’ll have to drive a majority of the state to get there, but I don’t want to get a speeding ticket. What’s the speed limit in Minnesota?

The
Minnesota
speed limit is 70 mph, but only on rural stretches of the interstate. Depending on where you’re going, you may be able to go 70 mph almost the whole way.
If you venture off the interstate, just make sure to observe the following Minnesota speed limits if they aren’t posted:
  • 65 mph on urban interstates
  • 55 mph on U.S. highways, state highways, and county roads
  • 30 mph in urban districts or business districts
  • 10 mph in alleys
