 blood alcohol limit is .08.
If you’re caught with a blood alcohol level of over .08, you’re subject to a DUI. Penalties for a DUI in Maryland include:
  • Up to one year of jail time
  • Up to $1,000 in fines not including court fees
  • License suspension for a minimum of six months
